STARSkate Program

Skate Canada's STARSkate program (a.k.a. Test Stream) offers opportunities for skaters to develop basic figure skating skills in four areas (Artistic, Dance, Free Skating, and Skating Skills) with the option of taking Skate Canada Tests. Sessions are classified by levels. Below are the eligibility requirements for each level.

¤ Junior ¤

This session includes 15 min. group warm up, 15 min. group dance lesson, 15 min. stroking and optional group STARSkate lessons (see Schedule & Fees for prices).

Skaters working on Prelim. Freeskate and not passed more than 1 Preliminary Dance.

Intermediate

Passed 2 Preliminary Dances and/or Passed 2 parts of Prelim. Freeskate Test and/or12-14 years of age

Senior

Passed Junior Bronze Freeskate and/or Passed Senior Bronze Dances or 15 years of age

Adult

18+ years of age
