Upper Canada Skating Club

The Upper Canada Skating Club is a non-profit organization constituted under the authority of Skate Canada within its Central Ontario Section (COS). 

The Board of Directors is made up entirely of volunteers elected by members of the Club at the Annual General Meeting held in early May of each year. Board member fulfill the following reponsibilities:

• The President chairs the meetings, drafts the agenda and provides the overall leadership and direction for the club.
• The Treasurer prepares the budget, authorizes expenses and maintains the club's books.
• The Secretary records the minutes of the Board meetings and summary of action items.
• The Registrar registers the club, the Board members and coaches with Skate Canada and Central Ontario Section.
• The Test/Competition Chair plans and organizes test and competition days.
